PLUMBING AND FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS DESIGNER/ENGINEER
CMG & Associates, Inc. is a multi-disciplined mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering firm that has an opportunity for a skilled plumbing and fire protection designer or engineer. The individual will be responsible for design, drafting, specifications writing, and working with design professionals to fulfill a variety of projects. Candidate should be knowledgeable and experienced in plumbing and fire protection design.
Work Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience from a four-year college in Mechanical/Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineering.
Minimum of three year’s experience in plumbing and fire protection design.
Working knowledge of building codes, automatic sprinkler systems, clean agent systems, hydraulic calculations, pump sizing and systems applications.
NICET certification desired, but not required.
Required Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office is required.
Progressive experience with developing plans and specifications.
Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks as well as a proven record of excellent client service.
Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work well in project team environment, including: team player, takes initiative to improve personal and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with all internal and external levels and groups.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline, team environment.
